When you make a reservation for a stay at the BLUE WHALE INN we agree to turn away all other requests for the room or suite you select and you agree to pay the rate quoted for the number of days you reserve it. You agree to pay total quoted amount according to BLUE WHALE INN's reservation terms and conditions and card issuer agreement. Non-refundable deposit required to guarantee reservation. No refunds for early departure.
Cash, Debit, VISA, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and BLUE WHALE INN Gift Certificates are accepted forms of payment.
Rates are subject to a RI sales tax of 7%, RI hotel occupancy tax of 5%, local hotel tax of 1%, and a lodging fee of $6 per room/suite per night per reservation. Fee includes; country continental breakfast & sunset celebration, extended parking on arrival and departure date, with access to fully enclosed hot/cold outdoor shower changing area (soap, shampoo, & conditioner provided), use of beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach wagon, in-room bottled water, wireless internet access, 24/7 coffee & tea in our outdoor courtyard, and use of propane grill with all utensils provided (restrictions apply).
Rates are based on maximum occupancy of 2 guests in a Deluxe Room, and up to 5 guests in a Deluxe Suite. $45 fee per extra guest per night, advance notice required, (subject to availability and room occupancy maximums).
Complimentary Country Continental Breakfast and Wine & Cheese offered all year. Gluten-free foods available with advance notice. Guests with food allergies are encouraged to contact guest services prior to their stay. Every effort is made to instruct our staff on the severity of food allergies. Please be aware our complimentary food items may contain or have come in contact during preparation with peanut, tree nut, gluten, wheat, egg, dairy, soy, shellfish, or fish allergens. The possibility that manufacturers of the commercial foods we use could change the formulation at any time, without notice also exists. Guests concerned with food allergies must be aware of this risk. The BLUE WHALE INN will not assume any liability for adverse reactions to foods consumed, or items one may come in contact with while eating at our establishment.
No shows forfeit all monies paid for the total stay. A reservation is considered a no show if a guest has not checked-in by 11 pm on expected arrival date without prior arrangement with guest services.
We proudly offer 100% smoke free rooms and suites. A $250 cleaning fee will be applied to any room or suite with signs of smoking indoors during stay. We reserve the right to charge for lost revenue due to smoking in room/suite. Burning candles, incense, or any other devices is also prohibited indoors. Smoking is permitted anywhere outdoors, except in outdoor courtyard during breakfast and wine & cheese.
Only room type is guaranteed during booking, not specific rooms or suites. If you have provided us with special requests, they have been noted on your reservation. These requests are very important to us and we will do our very best to fulfill them. Please note that your special requests, (including; room location, early check-in, etc.), will be honored as long as space allows.
Rates are subject to change without notice. Rates are only guaranteed after completion of reservation. Rates are dynamic and yield daily based on a variety of consumer factors. Rates are only valid for the number of guests, check-in dates, and length of stay reserved. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue promotional codes at any time without notice. Modifying the length of a reservation may result in a rate change and/or additional fees.
Credits are not redeemable during holidays, weekends, and/or special events. Credits expire one year from issuance and are non-transferable. Credits cannot be combined with promotional codes and/or discounts. BLUE WHALE INN Gift Certificates expire one year from issuance. Gift Certificate & Credit expiration date cannot be extended.
For security purposes all guests are required to show a valid photo ID at check-in. Only registered guests allowed on premises. Quiet hours on property are 9 pm to 9 am. Outdoor courtyard closes at 10 pm. Guests must be age 21 years or older to complete a reservation.
The inn is 100% compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act, and ADA-compliant guest rooms and suites are available. Please contact the inn directly to make these arrangements.
Guests are responsible for leaving rooms/suites in the condition they were in upon arriving. We reserve the right to add the costs of any damages or theft of inn property to a guest's account after departure. The card of the person or agent responsible for the booking will be debited with the costs, for which receipts will be provided, unless other payment methods are offered and approved. Guests will be held fully responsible for the conduct of any guest they choose to bring to the inn as far as any liability and damages are concerned, and therefore incur any costs. Management reserves the right to eject any unruly guest/guests who cause a nuisance to other guests or the property. No pets allowed.
All complimentary alcoholic beverages are strictly for persons ages 21 years and older only. Comparable substitutions available.
We cannot be held responsible for unused nights due to late or canceled airline flights, family emergencies, threat of bad weather, and other travel-related mishaps, or for changes in plans which shorten your stay. Trip cancellation, interruption, and hurricane can be purchased through Allianz Travel Insurance at www.allianztravelinsurance.com. Allianz is a non-affiliated third party, and we in no way administer these policies, so please be sure to confirm all terms and conditions as offered.
